La Guirra Beach - Located right next to Caleta de Fuste, very close to all of the amenities that this popular resort offers. It is one of the island’s most popular beaches for small children as the sea is so calm that they can safely play and splash around all day. Seven hundred metres of soft white sand make this beach the perfect place for a day spent having fun in the sun.
The Salt Museum - Situated close to Caleta De Fuste, interesting if you want to see how salt is extracted. You can also lunch at the restaurant Los Caracolitos which is in the vicinity of the museum. Around a 1hr walk from the centre of Caleta.
Shopping - Centro Comercial Atlantico is where to head with lots of brands to suit all. Perfect for a rainy day or to hide away from the heat wave!
Caleta De Fuste Markets - Street market in Caleta De Fuste runs Tuesdays & Saturdays from 10am - 2pm. Town square craft market is every Friday 6pm - 10pm.
A trip to Puerto Del Rosario - Great day out if you fancy seeing a real town in Fuerteventura and not just a resort. Just a 10 minute drive or you can catch public transport from the local bus station.
Oceanarium Explorer - This can be found in in Caleta de Fuste's Harbour, offering a wide range of activities and excursions. You can swim and interact with our 2 resident sea lions, Debbie and Donna. We have whale & dolphin safaris. There are daily deep sea fishing trips. We have a 75 ft catamaran offering sailing excursions with lunch, drinks, snorkeling and jet ski all included. There is jet ski hire and also pedal boat & kayak hire.
Day Trip to El Cotillo - If you have a rental car you should allow one day to explore the beautiufl lagoons of El Cotillo and also visit the small fishing village while you are in the area. Such a beautiful spot!
Get a relaxing Massage - There are several opitons for a massge in Caleta, best of which are at the Spa from the Barcelo hotel, or at Sould massage displaying a more reasonable price.
Oasis Park - Definately one for the children is the zoo! Around a 60 minute drive down south with the option to jump onto the free shuttle bus. Plenty of animals and shows, a great family day out.
Golfing - Fuerteventura golf club is the first 18 hole golf course on the island where the Spain open tournament was held in 2004. Prices start from 52 euros onwards.
Caleta De Fuste is the closest resort to the airport with around a 10 minute taxi journey so prices for transfers are reasonable.
